We are a group, or to give its proper name a ‘benefice,’ of three Bible-centred churches.
- All Saints, Risley
- St. Michael & All Angels, Stanton-by-Dale
- All Saints, Dale Abbey
We meet weekly in all three churches: 9.15am in Risley, 11.00am at Stanton and 3pm in Dale Abbey.
Currently the benefice is in an interregnum.
Services are well attended and we have a thriving children’s work at both Risley and Stanton. We also have a monthly All Age service at both of these churches on the first Sunday of the month. Although each service has its own character, they are all centred on the Ministry of the Word. That means we preach from the Bible each and every week.
Services are friendly and relatively informal. That means you can come in a suit or wear your jeans and you won’t look out of place. We have many guests, young families, parents with grown-up families as well as some more ‘time experienced’ members of our congregation.
None of our churches is perfect. Occasionally we might forget your name or ask you if you’re new several weeks in a row, but our aim is to serve Christ and we strive to do so with humility and enthusiasm. You will find our sermon series on this website and you are welcome to listen to a few before coming to check us out.
You are welcome to come to any of our three services and if you are new to the area, why not try out all three services and see which one is most helpful for you? Coffee, tea and other refreshments are served after all our services and there is time to chat and socialise.
Labels are often very unhelpful, but if you find them useful, then we would be called a Bible-based evangelical church – and our desire is to know Christ and make him known throughout our community.
