Due to the Coronavirus , we are no longer able to meet together on a Sunday, or to have our buildings open for private prayer. This is of course a great sadness, but we must all play our part in following the latest guidance, and working hard to avoid the spread of the virus.
Although our church buildings are closed, our life as a church family continues!
Let’s all work hard to pray for each other, and to stay in touch with one another.
There will be a live streamed service via Facebook, each Sunday at 10:30am. Look for the Stanton-by-Dale, Risley and Dale Abbey Facebook group. Alternatively – under the Church Life tab on this website, click the link to our Facebook page where you can view and watch things without being a Facebook member.
Our weekly notice sheets are still being produced – these are accessible via the Church Life tab and then click on notices.
There are other things as well, such as occasional morning prayer services (happening on Tuesday March 31st, Friday April 3rd, and Tuesday April 6th).
Also, we will be regularly tackling big questions to do with the Christian faith – so look out for these updates too. (These big questions are recorded and can be found under the ‘Talks’ tab and are also on our Facebook group).
If you do know anybody in the benefice in need, please do get in touch and we may be able to help. Email: email@example.com
Finally, some verses from Psalm 121 to encourage: I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
At this time, and always, look to the LORD for your strength and help. Through his Son Jesus he has proved himself more than able to meet our every need.
